CCSI4CCSI

The project “Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries for Collaboration, Competitiveness, Sustainability and Innovation”, with the acronym CCSI4CCSI, has been approved under the Interreg Europe program. Its main goals are:

  • To support CCSI actors in their development, transformation, and innovation;
  • To promote synergies within the regional ecosystem and enrich CCSI through cooperation with other priority smart specialization sectors;
  • To encourage proactive decision-making by linking foresight tools with policy creation.

CCSI4CCSI focuses on the triple transition of the cultural and creative sectors and industries. Therefore, it aligns with the strategic priorities of the European Commission (European Green Deal, A Europe Fit for the Digital Age, An Economy that Works for People), to which CCSI is expected to make a significant contribution.

The project also contributes to the New European Agenda for Culture, particularly its social and economic dimensions, as well as the cross-sectoral action Digital4Culture.

The project targets the cultural and creative sectors and industries as a whole, without limiting its scope by definition to specific CCSI segments (such as ALICE – animation, CLAY – ceramics, CRAFTS CODE – handicrafts). It also explores synergies between CCSI and any other sector without restrictions to specific fields (such as RegionArts – ICT, Cult-CreaTE – Tourism).

CCSI4CCSI partners will jointly develop future scenarios using foresight techniques and tools to identify potential future needs and challenges within the creative and cultural sectors and industries. Furthermore, they will explore new potential business models and conduct simulation exercises on them to help CCSI companies and clusters become resilient to future crises.
