The project PROSPERITY is financed from Horizon 2020, which is being implemented with the aim of encouraging the creation of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) in the 12 EU member states.

PROSPERITY will be activated and involve institutions at the national level in the implementation of individual SUMP’s across the EU. It is planned to prepare more and better SUMP’s which will in the future lead a larger number of planned and implemented measures from SUMP’s. PROSPERITY will work with national and regional agencies and ministries to increase the number of cities that are willing to make SUMP’s.

Target group: national and regional agencies, ministries.

Project activities:

• Identification and evaluation of national programs for the SUMP’s.
• International exchange of experience between representatives of the national authorities of all participating countries.
• Organization of the 4 conferences.
• The developments of a national program SUMP’s or improves existing programs.

The project leader is Forschungsgesellschaft Mobilität Austrian Mobility Research (FGM) – Austria, and in the project participated 26 partners, including the City of Koprivnica.

End of the project is scheduled for September 2019.
